Dear Friends,
Psalm 113:1 – “Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.”
We have so much to praise God for. We have had a good year. The church is doing very well. We have had some new folks attending, one couple who are originally from Colombia, South America. Attendance in Sunday School has been good. We have breakfast before Sunday School which helps our attendance – Our people love to eat.
We just completed our second 13-week session in the Adult Bible Study from Bob Jones University. In all 18 adults participated in the 2nd session and 10 completed the course. Seventeen received their certificates of completion for the 1st session. Many have commented that they have not learned anything new – it’s just coming from someone different, proof to them that God’s Word is true and doesn’t change.
We had our Vacation Bible School in June. It was a great week with many children attending. We ministered to 70 young people that week and twenty three accepted the Lord as Savior. Our people get excited about the opportunity to serve the Lord in VBS. We are continuing VBS on Wednesday evenings, with the help of our teens. Many new children are coming back each week. Their parents won’t let them attend on Sundays, but we have the opportunity to continue to minister to them on Wednesdays. We will be starting the Patch the Pirate Clubs back up in August.
We thank the Lord for His blessings. We have been healthy and thank God for His provision. He has been so good to us. We also thank the Lord for the opportunity we have been given to serve Him, and we thank Him for you folks who have so faithfully prayed for us and supported the ministry here.
