Psalm 145:2 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Hello Praying Friends,

Our Great God continues His work in our lives and in the ministry among the Hualapai.  This summer has been an even greater blessing than anticipated.  Our oldest daughter Jackie was married to Jonathan Cook July 16 in King, NC.  We saw the Lord work in our behalf throughout the trip.  Our van seemed to be struggling at times, but we made it all the way across the country and back home without any repairs having to be done.  Though it does appear we will need some transmission work done before we take any more trips.  The wedding was a testimony to God's love toward us.  Please pray for the Cooks as Jon works to complete his masters degree at Ambassador Baptist College this year.

While on in North Carolina we were able to report to a couple of supporting churches regarding our return to the States and the work among the Hualapai.  The response was good and we enjoyed the fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters we had not seen for several years.  On the return trip, we visited Washington DC; Baltimore, MD; and St. Louis, MO enjoying many sights along the way.

As soon as we returned home we got busy with Vacation Bible School.  Our church did the whole program ourselves this year, and everyone involved did a great job.  We were reminded again what a wonderful group of people God has called us to to minister.  The attendance was good with a high on Wednesday night of 59.

Now we are back into school with two new students in the church's home school co-op.  That gives us 19 students this year-a new record!  Seventeen are meeting daily at the church and two pre-schoolers are doing their work at home.  Steve is again monitoring our upper elementary and high school students while Sherry is teaching 1-3 grades.

As a matter of prayer please do remember our vehicle needs.  Our twelve passenger van that we use for church activities needs a new engine.  It hasn't been working for several months as we await funds to repair it.  As I mentioned earlier in the letter, our Astro is now needing transmission work to be considered dependable.  If you feel led to help financially with either of these needs, please designate your gift to the mission as either the De Ford's engine or transmission need.
