Dear Praying Friends,
"But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun." Exodus 17:12
Thank each of you for "holding up our hands" through your prayers, letters and cards, and financial support. We have been going through the book of Exodus at church and the previous verse expresses our thoughts toward you.
We have had another great month! Beginning with Resurrection Sunday right up through the end of the month we had good attendance and a sweet spirit in all the services.
April was "Ladies' Month" here at Hualapai Baptist Church. While our men have a fellowship each month the ladies have opted for a quarterly, more involved, gathering this year. This month Janet Grammer (another missionary wife in our mission) was their guest speaker. The theme was "Spring Cleaning for the Soul". The following week twelve ladies attended the annual Ladies' Retreat hosted by the Bill Rice Ranch West Branch. The ladies came home enthusiastic, refreshed, and still laughing!
School continues to keep us busy. We are getting eager for summer vacation, but must remain diligent through exams! All the students did well this year. It looks as though all will be home-schooling again next year along with one new family.
Thank you for your prayers for each part of the ministry among the American Indians. Knowing you are there helps to sustain us here.
For God's Glory-Steve De Ford
