Steve & Sherry DeFord ~ February 2010 Prayer Letter

Hello Friends!

Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift!

The first of five newborns expected in 2010 at Hualapai Baptist Church has arrived. We had a "Baby Fellowship" for little Talicyn after our evening church service February 7. Her father, Cleve, is one of our deacons. This makes five beautiful girls for this sweet Christian family.

We praise the Lord for another salvation decision. Dashon, a second grader and son of some faithful church members, has been raising his hand during the invitation for several weeks. Steve had the privilege of leading him to Christ in his home. What a blessing that was!

After what we hope to be our last snow storm of the season, we went for a teen sledding activity in Williams, AZ. Eight teens came out for the day. Despite all the aches and pains, and one cracked rib, everyone agreed that we had a great day.

The homeschool co-op that we have at the church is going quite well. All 12 students are loving it and progressing well. On February 10th, we had our 100th day of school. We celebrated with some special activities in the afternoon. We all had a good laugh as we tried to jump rope 100 times.

Please pray as we anticipate having two evangelists in during the month of March. Our prayer is "Revive us again in 2010."

For God's Glory,
The Steve De Ford Family
