Dear Prayer Warriors and Ministry Partners,
The summer is nearing an end and we are looking forward to cooler temperatures in the near future. The month of August has brought mixed blessings our way. We had a wonderful IBIMI mission retreat with Evangelist Dave Jaspers. But the same week we had to say good-bye to our daughter Jackie who went back to North Carolina to continue her education. She has settled in well and is looking forward to another great semester. Please keep her in your prayers. I have included her address below for anyone who may want to write her an encouraging note.
A few of our church families have decided to home-school this year, so we have begun a home-school co-op at the church. We meet together each morning and do our home-schooling together. We have a total of nine young people schooling at home (church) this year. Pray for our new students as they adjust to a new way of schooling.
Paul, a young man we told you about who recently was saved and baptized, married one of the young ladies from our congregation on the 29th. It is our prayer that this new young couple will be a testimony here in our community to what God can do in a family. We are looking forward to seeing what God has for their future together. Keep Paul and Kristen in prayer.
Thank you for your continued prayer for our new home. We hope to be moving in sometime in September. There is still a lot of work to do on the property. We need to move a lot of dirt and get fencing up. There are also a lot of weeds that need to be mowed down. We are eager to be closer to the church and the folks here are looking forward to our being in a more convenient location.
Your prayers, letters, and cards are a constant encouragement to us; thank you, again!
