Dear Prayer Partners
In early February we traveled to Eagle Pass, Texas to visit with IBIMI missionaries Don and Elaine Stephens. It was a blessing to preach in their a.m. and p.m. services on the 8th. We had planned to take a one day side trip on our way home with Don and Elaine following us as far as Fredricksburg, TX., but on our way in Hondo, TX., our car was hit and totaled. No one was injured and after renting a car in San Antonio we returned home as did the Stephens’. After receiving an insurance settlement later in the month we were able to purchase another car March 3.
During the middle of February we flew to Spencer, IN for three days to attend the funeral of David’s cousin. Upon returning home David spoke at Gilson Wash Baptist Church’s Valentine dinner. There were seven couples attending and it was a great fellowship time together.
During the month of March a group from Riverview Baptist Church came to finish the addition to the church building. This addition adds two much needed Sunday School classrooms, a new church office, and eventually a sound room. Gene Absher continues to work on the dry wall finishing along with men from the church as their work schedules allow
David is teaching the adult Sunday School class this quarter and doing what he can with the addition work.Most of his help has been getting supplies for the building.

Ethel - with serious health issues (we started with Bible studies in their home 31 years ago)
Steve - with colon cancer (missionary with the Pima people on the Salt River Res.)
Michael Veldhuis - heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. He is recuperating in NY until he is strong enough to return home to the Cocopah Res. in Yuma, AZ
Baptismal service Easter Sunday
Continued healing for David – he still has pain in his feet although his strength increases.
