Dear Prayer Partners,                                                                       June, July, August 2010

It is almost impossible to realize summer has come and gone already.  We were blessed in so many ways over the summer beginning with a visit the first part of June with all our family being here.  It was good to have eight of our nine grandchildren together.  It made Father’s Day extra special.

David was able to preach Sunday mornings for part of June and July at Ferguson Memorial Baptist Church for Pastor Fox as he continued chemo treatment.  Becky plays piano each week for the beginning of the Sunday morning worship hour.  One Sunday in July we filled in at Gilson Wash Baptist in the absence of Pastor Barthel.  It is always good to be with our Apache church family.  They are a blessing and encouragement to us.

August brought the annual IBIMI Retreat.  This year we met in Flagstaff at Northland Baptist Church.  All but one of our missionary families was in attendance, plus several visitors.   That meeting is always refreshing and full of great fellowship and we look forward to it each year.

Because of the Retreat we were happy to have Don and Elaine Stephens visit in our home as well as Pastor DeWayne Felber, Harry Stone, and Paul and Betty Hiscock.  These folks are all long time friends out of our home church and serve with the Mission in various capacities.
