Dear Fellow-laborers,
We continue to receive snow on the mountains around us and rain here. It will make for a beautiful desert this spring with all the plants in bloom! I'm sure many of you back east are looking forward to signs of spring after so much snow this winter.
Thank you for your prayers for the revival services. We appreciated the good messages brought by Brother Glen Jaspers, and for Mary teaching the children, freeing up Bev to work in the nursery. It was the best attended revival we have had. It was good to have a few visitors come, and very encouraging to see our own folk back faithfully for each service. Ida, who had knee replacement surgery a few days before, wanted to be there so badly she came in a wheel chair.
Your prayers for the Sweetheart Banquet were appreciated, as well. There were eight couples in attendance; great for our first banquet. Two husbands came with their wives that hadn't been to church for some time, and Selena, who was saved at our Christmas program, brought her unsaved husband. We had a great time of food and fellowship, followed by a challenging message from Brother Jaspers.
- *Please continue to pray for God's will concerning the property for the church building. When God says it is time, He will do it, His timing is perfect. What a blessing to be able to rest in that knowledge!
- Please pray for the salvation of Selena's husband.
