Dear Ones in Him,
Greetings from a very wet Arizona! The recent storms brought huge amounts of rain and snow to our state. A missonary friend, Sam Grammer of Flagstaff, was trying to make his way home from Phoenix and spent the night here, as I-17 north was closed. Though it caused many traffic problems, we are so thankful to see the streams and rivers replenished.
Things are going well at church. Gary recently began a new series on "Creation" in the Sunday School hour, and it has been met with good response. It is a blessing to have some, who are normally only there for the morning worship service, now coming to Sunday school and bringing their teens. Please pray they will continue after the series is finished.
We would appreciate your continued prayers for the upcoming revival ( 7th-10th) with Brother Glen Jaspers. Also, for the first time, we are having a sweetheart banquet on the 12th. Brother Glen will be our guest speaker, and we are looking forward to a good time of fellowship.
No new word at this time on the status of the property for the church building. We would appreciate your continued prayers in the matter.
