Dear Fellow Labourers,
Luke 2: 10, 11 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great jou, which shall be to all people. for unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour which is Christ the Lord.
Isn't it wonderful that you and I can deliver the same message to the world today. Aren't you thankful that some faithful servant of God told you the good news that Jesus saves?
October 5th we had friends and family day. At the end of the morning service the Lord saved on first time visitor.
October 27th Pastor Jim Chandler brought a group from Arbana Baptist Church in Mt. View Arkansas to do remodeling work at both the Casa Grande church and the Ak Chin Church. These men did a tremendous job. I still can't believe the amount of work they did in three days. Since their departure we have been busy doing some of the finish work like plumbing, texturing, and painting walls.
The Lord keep providing more facilities for the Ak Chin church. Their attendance is really increasing with many first time visitors. Brian and Louanne are excited to see what the Lord is doing. We want to also use these facilities for a children's camp. Much work still needs to be done with the greatest need being water. We are pursuing a couple of ideas. Please pray that God will give us wisdom.
For many years we have met in an old adobe building in Cockleburr village. This building is just about to fall apart. We are trying to obtain permission to put a used office trailer in Cockleburr to meet in. Please make this a matter of prayer. If the village will allow a trailer, God has provided faithful servants who are willing to purchase the unit.
We have been busy buying and separating toys for the Indian children for Christmas. Pray that these gifts will bring glory to God and that someone might be saved as a result of these gifts being given. We certainly appreciate all who have given for this project.
Remember the dates of our 2009 camp meeting. They are March 29th - April 1st. These meetings are always an encouragement to our people. I pray many of you will be able to attend this year.
