Dear Friends in Christ,
This past month of August was a full, busy month with lots of travel.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers as we were on the road. Not only did we have safe travel, but we had good fellowship with others in the Word and even had some professions of faith in Christ during the Conferences.
Our Mission Fellowships are like a family reunion for our missionaries.
It was a real blessing to get the field reports and see that God is still at work. We also know how to better pray for each other as they shared their struggles and burdens. 3 of our young missionary girls are leaving their families this fall to go on to Bible Colleges. Pray for their families and for the added financial needs this will create for each of these girls.

We will be helping out at Tuba City for the month of September while they look for a full-time pastor again. Pray for us as we travel each Sunday and for the Church to find the one the Lord has planned to lead them.
It is time to gear up for this year's fall Hunt camps. The first one will be in September another one in October. Pray for these men as they travel west and for a good time in their Bible Studies during camp.
Remember our service men, especially those that know Christ, that they will be a strong Christian witness during their time of service. Pray for Sam Jr in the Marines and for Andrew DeFord (son of Steve DeFord) in the Navy.
Thanks for praying for our family with their summer ministries. Everyone is back home now and we're eager to hear reports about their work. We had 2 grandkids that traveled to S Africa, 2 grandkids in Bolivia, a daughter-in-law who worked as a camp counselor for the summer (while Sam is in Afghanistan) and a daughter and her husband that went to Ghana, Africa for 3 weeks to teach in a Bible School there.
