Dear Friends in Christ,
Our roof was in need of new shingles and our plan was to replace them this summer while we had some helpers visiting. By then, we had hoped to have the cost of the shingles set aside and be ready for this project.
However, we noticed a leak in the ceiling and knew that the project couldn’t be put off, but it needed to be attended to right away. We want to thank those of you who sent a special gift to help with the cost of this need. As we listen to the spring winds howling this morning, we are reminded how gracious God was in giving us so many quiet days in a row for the job to be finished. The shingles are fully paid for and now on the roof-for which we thank God.
Sam has been busy working on outlines for this summer’s programs. He will be helping the Western Navajo Bible Fellowship with their annual conference, as well as teaching a class on ordination for some of our Native pastors. There is also some traveling being planned for early this month. Sam will be in NY for about a week and will be preaching in 4 different churches. Pray for safety and for the Lord to work in hearts as He sees fit.
Please be praying for Sam Jr., as once again he has been sent back to the Middle East; this time in Afghanistan. Pray also for Amber while Sam is away from home.
