Dear Friends,

We thank all of you who remember the ministry here at Vamori Independent Baptist Church. Prayer is much appreciated and necessary for the ministry.

October 14 and 28 2007 I made regular Christian broadcasts over KOHN 91.9 FM in Covered Wells. Continued preaching and teaching in the Book of Revelation.

November 2, 2007 performed a memorial service for the Antone family in Topawa community there were approximately thirty in attendance. I spoke at the funeral service in 2005 for Evelyn who was an elderly believer and daughter of the late Pastor Joaquin Lopez who ministered at the Vamori Presbyterian Church for over 50 years.

On November10, 2007 I spoke in Choulic community at a memorial service for the Harris family who are relatives of mine. I performed the wake service for Rena who was an elder believer in 2003. I performed the funeral services for her son Larry who was middle aged and was a believer but struggled with alcohol that eventually took his life.

On November 11 and 25, 2007 I made regular Christian broadcasts over KOHN 91.9 FM in Covered Wells, AZ.

December 3, 2007 I was asked to speak at a wake service in Topawa community for a man who succumbed to alcohol abuse. There was approximately fifty in attendance during the service. Millard was a tremendous basketball player it seemed just a few years ago but sadly alcohol addiction ended his life all too soon.

On December 9 and 23, 2007 I made regular broadcasts on KOHN 91.9 FM in Covered Wells. On these dates I presented the Christmas message and the wonderful gift of life our Savior offers for all people. On December 23 in our Worship Service our children, young people along with Elaine Reyes the children’s Sunday school teacher presented a play of the Christmas event. It was a unique presentation with a Tohono O'odham arbor made of mesquite, saguaro ribs and ocotillo for the stable.

December 25, 2007 I was asked by the Vamori community representatives to conduct a community Christmas service. There were approximately thirty-five to forty people in attendance.

January 6-10, 2008 Pastor Glen Jaspers was our speaker for revival services for that week. Brother Jaspers from Iowa presented tremendous teachings from God’s word for every meeting. The church was encouraged and nurtured by the word of life.

On January 9, 08 my niece Victoria Reino who was thirty-five years old was tragically killed in a single vehicle roll over leaving for work from Vamori, AZ. Four other family members were with her. Amazingly the only other injury was her ten year old nephew Drew fractured his arm. I performed the wake and funeral services January 13, 14, 08. Victoria was a believer and it was a comfort to our family especially to her husband Terrence, their fifteen year old daughter Rochelle and their two year old son Victer that she is with the Lord. The total number of people who attended the services was just over three hundred people.

January 6 and 20, 2008 I made regular Christian broadcasts over KOHN FM in Covered Wells. On the sixth Pastor Jaspers was my special speaker and he spoke on who God is. It was a great message for the lost audience.

On February 4, 2008 my mother Isabel under went major surgery to remove a cancerous ulcer in the upper stomach. Currently she is glad to be home and under the hospice program here on the reservation.

On February 3 and 17 I made regular Christian broadcasts over KOHN FM 91.9 voice of the Tohono O'odham Nation teaching through the book of Revelation.
