Dear Prayer Partners

Since our January update we’ve had two very full and busy months. January’s revival with Dr. Glen Jaspers was the highlight of the month. We saw many good decisions during the week of meetings. After seeing three young people saved in mid December, we were very blessed with the additional decisions during the revival services. Two of the young people have been faithful in services while the other young boy was visiting from another reservation and is not here to be in services. The following week one of our  IBIMI missionary couples, Sam and Janet Grammer, were with us to tell us of their ministry last summer in a remote Alaskan Indian village.

In February, one of our church’s former pastor and IBIMI missionary, Don Stephens, spoke in Sunday service. It was a blessing to have them with us and to be able to enjoy  their fellowship over the week. Later in the month, one of the faithful men and a deacon in the church called to let us know how the Lord is leading him to train for pastoring in the future. That is a missionary’s goal realized. Please pray for David as he works with him, that he will have wisdom in teaching and training. We don’t know what part the Lord would have us be in his training, but whatever it is we are looking forward to seeing  another native man take the responsibility of pastoring some time in the future.

David continues to make progress physically. He no longer is in a regimented physical therapy program, but continues to walk and exercise to regain strength and balance. We have an appointment in April with the neurologist and he has been very encouraging in the past. He is experiencing pain in his feet most all of the time, which he did not have while going through the worst of the Guillain Barre.

Spring has arrived in the desert. With poppies and lupine already blooming and many more varieties to follow, the hills and valleys are being painted masterfully from the Lord’s palette.

Please accept our thanks for your continued support and prayers for the ministries among the Native Americans. The days are short and there is so much that still needs to be done. Pray with us for more workers.May the Lord bless you in your corner of the harvest field.

In His love and ours,
Dave and Becky
