Dear Supporting Church Families & Friends,
“So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” We thank the Lord for the increase He has given over the past couple of months. There is so much to tell about.
In April, Louann & I took 3 of the teenagers to a youth conference at Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, CA. There were around 2,000 teens there, and a lot of great preaching and singing! The Lord really worked on hearts in this meeting. One of the greatest blessings was seeing Latanya (our oldest daughter) walk the aisle and give her heart and life completely to Him and His desires for her life! Please pray for her, as the devil would love to steal that decision away and have her forget it and ruin it. Although she is not perfect (none of us are), we have seen tremendous improvements in her life. We praise God for His working there! He is so faithful to answer our prayers if we’ll just be faithful to Him!
Speaking of the young people, the past two months have been a tremendous time of growth in many of their lives. We have a good core of teens that are really starting to grow. Over the past few months we have seen their hearts softened, their dress standards improve, testimonies by all, singing together in the church, etc… It is really exciting and encouraging to see God once again give the increase as we faithfully plant and water for Him! Pray for the teens, that they will continue to grow in His grace and knowledge.
Several have expressed sincere desires to begin living for Him!
April also saw our 11th annual camp meeting. What a great blessing this time was. The Lord blessed us once again with His presence. Thank you so much to those who were able to come out and be a part of this meeting, and to those who faithfully prayed for the meeting as well. The Lord is still using those services to work in hearts here even now!
We also have exciting news from the mission church in Ak-Chin. During April we have had several new visitors, including a young lady in her 30’s named Melissa. A couple of weeks ago, Melissa asked the Lord to save her, and we are so thankful for this!
Several children have started attending also, so Louann is now teaching a youth class while I preach to the adults. Pray for the church there, for more souls to be added, and for the growth of those already coming!
We also have some exciting news from Cocklebur. This is the village where we have our weekly Bible Club for the kids and adults alike. During the past two months we have seen 4 pre-teens trust the Lord as their personal Savior. Please pray for those new Christians, who get 2-3 hours per week of time with God, and the rest of their time is completely occupied with the devil and his evil temptations and examples. Only He can give them a better life!
Pray for us, we are all well physically and growing spiritually. I thank God for my family!
